The spooky season is here — and so is our favorite fall tradition! 👻 Join us for the 3rd Annual “Creep It Safe” Poster Contest, where creativity meets caution, and safety gets a spine-chilling twist.

What’s it all about?

We’re inviting all scientists and engineers to tap into their inner mad scientist and design laboratory safety posters with a spooky, Halloween theme. It’s the perfect way to mix creativity with safety in a fun way!

This contest is open to everyone in MSE — from lab to computational researchers, from undergrads to grads to faculty!

Think zombies, ghosts, and all things eerie — but with a safety-first twist! Your poster can highlight lab hazards in fume hoods, unlabeled scary liquids, or those orange labels that make you nervous, or even tangled extension cords and trip hazards lurking under your desks. Even a code crash after hours on the server can be a horror story worth telling! If it relates to your research safety, it can be part of your frightfully fun design.
