1. PPDA sponsored Seminar series

The 2013 seminar series is kicking off. Here are the details of our first seminar:

Speaker: Bob Falk from Purdue Credit Union
Time: 4:30-5:30pm Wednesday,30th Jan 2013 
Location: Beering Hall (BRNG), room 1245
Refreshment will be provided 

The speaker emphasized this will be an educational event rather than a "sales pitch" and he will cover mainly the following topics: 
1) what options there are for saving for retirement(or pension system) for Americans and foreign citizens? 
2) Investment: what is the best way to handle savings

Thanks to Eva we finally are ready to print our PPDA flyer. It will be distributed  around Purdue and hopefully give some more visibility to the PPDA and its resources for new postdocs. We also welcome postdocs that want to get involved with the association or simply join for our social events at any time. Don't be shy and come see us.
