To all MSE graduate and postdoc researchers,
Last week, an announcement was sent out for the first ever Materials at Purdue Symposium (M@PS). The attached flyer has event details, which you should add to your calendar if you plan to attend. This email is to restate and clarify the registration process
for attendees and presenters, which is as follows:
- All attendees are asked to register so that accurate headcounts can be gathered for food and space requirements.
- Presentations can be given by any current graduate student or postdoc researcher on any current project relevant to materials science and engineering.
- To apply for one of 16 presentation slots, go through the registration form and select "presenter" when asked, then enter the text of your abstract (no file upload, no figures).
- The registration form includes the call for abstracts, which contains details on abstracts and the rubric which will be used for scoring. This document is also attache here.
- Presentation applications are due April 14th
If you are interested in presenting, please talk to your advisor and submit an abstract. We're hoping to include a diverse range of topics in this symposium, so the more applications, the better. Send any questions to sinclai3@purdue.edu.
Thanks,
