3 WEEKS (17 DAYS TO GO!)

We have 3 WEEKS TO GO!!!!!!  We are currently at $620,858, almost 79% toward our original goal of $785.000

Keep advocating, keep informing, keep encouraging, keep doing the amazing work you are doing!

All Deans/Dept Heads/Directors will be contacted next week after the next Email is sent from United Way on November 1^st and asked to email their units to encourage individuals to participate.

Please note:  the Purdue campaign ends on Nov. 15 and will culminate with a Victory Celebration Luncheon.  It will be important to share with your areas that for those that want to make a pledge to the campaign, they must do so BEFORE Nov. 15.  The ePledge site will not be able to accept payroll deductions after that date. 

Purdue Victory Celebration Lunch & Presentation – RSVP by Nov. 13

Victory is around the corner.  I would like to ask that each College/Unit create a poster board sign with their unit’s fundraising total.  Senior/Junior Chairs and team captains can work together to make your sign.  The sign should have your units name and fundraising total so that everyone can celebrate each other’s successes.

College/Unit Fundraisers ENDING TOMMORROW:

· College of Engineering is hosting their last  “Chick-Fil-A fundraiser” on Tuesday October 31^st  from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm on the east side of Purdue Mall, in front of MSEE. 

· College of Science Silent Auction is OPEN now through October 31^st –There are lots of fun and practical items for bidding. Keep checking as they add more items to the auction often.  Here is the link:  The link to the auction: https://discover.education.purdue.edu/auction/Default.aspx?dept=9

· Please join us at Hilltop for a hauntingly delicious good time tomorrow October 31^st 11:30-1:00pm Back Patio and Activity Room at Hilltop. Donations of $3 will get you a bowl of chili/soup, dessert and a drink. Come dressed in your best costume! (Flyer attached)

College/Unit Fundraisers THROUGH THIS FRIDAY:

· NEW AUCTION JUST ADDED: Enrollment Management’s Silent Auction is OPEN now through THIS Friday November 3^rd  –Tons of great Christmas gift ideas and already PACKAGED TO GIVE!   The link to the auction: https://discover.education.purdue.edu/auction/Default.aspx?dept=3

· On Friday, November 3rd, the Purdue Research Foundation, in conjunction with the Purdue Railyard, will be hosting a lunchtime live music event benefitting our local United Way! (see attached flyer)

Any units/colleges hosting fundraisers, please let me know! I would like to stop by and show support and also let our volunteers know about upcoming events.
