Subject: [MMSP2024] Regarding travel grant application MMSP 2024

Dear IEEE MMSP 2024 Committee,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Akash Awasthi, a PhD student at the University of Houston. I wanted to kindly inform you that my paper, titled "Anomaly Detection in Satellite Videos using Diffusion Models", has been accepted for oral presentation at IEEE MMSP 2024, and I have already registered for the conference.

However, due to my current financial circumstances, I am seeking support through a travel grant. I understand that the eligibility for the travel grant requires applicants to be IEEE and SPS members. Unfortunately, as I come from a financially disadvantaged background, I am currently unable to meet this membership requirement. I kindly ask if there is any possibility of either applying for the grant without the membership or receiving an exemption for students in financial need.

I greatly appreciate your time and consideration of my request, and I am hopeful for any assistance that may help me attend this important event.

Kind regards,
Akash Awasthi
