From Green Flag to Graded: Streamlining Feedback with Gradescope
Join us on Tuesday, May 13th from 11:00 to 12:00pm in ET 103 for an in person Gradescope session and Sandbox Time to follow.
Intended Audience: New and Beginning Gradescope Users
Get ready to accelerate your grading process! This workshop introduces you to Gradescope – a platform that brings speed, fairness, and precision to assessment through robust rubrics and digital workflows. Grading for your traditionally pen and paper assignments will run like a well-oiled machine using Gradescope’s digital grading platform.
During this session, you’ll get in the driver’s seat to explore Gradescope best practices, including integrating Gradescope and Brightspace, using Gradescope’s powerful grading features, and utilizing IDP’s services for exam scanning.
By the checkered flag, you’ll be able to:
· Link your Brightspace course to a Gradescope course
· Create a templated Gradescope assignment
· Grade handwritten work in Gradescope's digital platform
· Use rubrics and annotation tools available in Gradescope
· Identify use cases for Gradescope’s AI-Assisted grouping feature
· Collaborate with Instructional Data Processing [IDP] for exam scanning into Gradescope
The first 50 minutes will feature a guided presentation, followed by optional sandbox worktime with presenters available for individualized support and questions. Additional Gradescope resources are available here.
Registration is not required
