Greetings, Professors!

This is a friendly reminder of the Final Exam and Deposit Deadlines, for students who are registered to graduate in May. Please log in to:  https://www.purdue.edu/gradschool/gsdb/wpu_intra_php/pu_dispauth.php on a daily basis to make sure your signature is not needed on the following Graduate School forms:

• DUE WEDNESDAY, Apr. 22^nd:
• Form 7 - Report of the Master’s Examining Committee
• Form 11 - Report of the Final Examination

NOTE: The committee chair must fill out the rubric, confirm the examining committee, and submit their signature before the remaining committee members can sign the exam form.

• DUE TUESDAY, Apr. 28^th:
• ETAF (Electronic Thesis Acceptance Form - aka Form 9) – You should withhold your signature on this form, NOT the final exam form, if the student passed the exam but needs to make changes to their thesis.  Withholding your signature on the ETAF will prevent students from depositing their thesis as they will not receive the link to upload it until the ETAF has been signed by all examining committee members and the grad chair. 

NOTE:  Students needing more time to prepare their thesis for deposit can request a two-week deadline extension from the Grad School giving them to Noon on May 13^th to deposit.  Have your student submit a Form 14, found on the Plan of Study Generator in myPurdue, if an extension is needed.  Your approval will be required on the Form 14.  FYI….students will be charged the $200 Late Graduation Deadline Fee to extend the deposit deadline.

ALL signatures, examining committee AND grad chair, must be received by the above dates or your student will not be eligible to graduate at the end of the semester. Please let the ME Grad Office know if you have any questions regarding Graduate School candidate deadlines or policies.
