4th Floor ABE Dishwasher & Autoclave Update
Good news! I have assembled the nozzles for the 4th floor dishwasher bottom rack and ran a successful cycle yesterday. If you are interested in using the unit, please contact me before operation. The nozzles are not designed to customize for each lab user, but rather wash a variety of glassware at once. It is acceptable to run more than one cycle if multiple pieces of glassware need to be washed. Please do not remove nozzles without authorization. I plan to order baskets for the top rack to safely contain test tubes during washing at the end of next week. For users outside of the 4th floor, I would be happy to meet and help you decide what nozzles and lower rack setup might work for your lab needs. Earlier this week, the 3rd, 4th & 5th floor units were serviced by a Steelco tech. The autoclave unit in 4117A was also moved back closer to the wall and now there is sufficient space to use the supplied autoclave cart, when desired. Thanks everyone!
