LORRE Researchers, I wanted to share some very exciting news that was just announced today. Dr. Kevin Solomon has been awarded funding from the prestigious Early Career Research Program from the DOE Office of Science. He is one of 73 researchers chosen for this award for his project, Genetic tools to optimize lignocellulose conversion in anaerobic fungi and interrogate their genomes. I am looking forward to hearing more about this project and seeing results as they are generated. Way to go, Dr. Solomon!
