ISP Certification Renewal:

As you all are aware of the Integrated Safety Plan (ISP) renewal, we have sent the Lab Safety Self Audit checklists to REM (Judah and Robert) for review. We are correcting the deficiencies found during the audits. We have prepared training documents and other documentation and we are waiting on REM to come to LORRE and perform the audit (July 8th).

New Safety Committee Member:

Ph.D. student Raymond Red Corn will be joining the Safety Committee. He is very responsible and has helped the committee in many ways. We believe that he will be an outstanding addition.

6/14/2016 LORRE Seminar meeting

Prof. Mosier and Prof. Engelberth led a discussion going over the topics of lab cleanup and safety inspection coordination. Everyone gave their input and it was great because now we can address safety concerns and find ways that we can improve. This was very helpful for the safety program.
