soon the Lab’s
Safety consideration is particularly important.
Biological waste and chemical
waste handle
This is a priority task in December safety. Biohazardous
agent capable of
self-replication, and has the
capacity to produce deleterious effects upon biological
organisms. We hope you appropriately
deal with Biological waste and don’t leave
the work to next year.

Check refrigerator. Please
manage your samples, medium
and materials. If you need to keep it, it needs to have to have
Clear label.
Don’t need keep it have to immediate treatment
·
Clean
you work
area: Biological Safety
Cabinets, Laminar Flow Cabinets, Fume hoods and Benches. Please
don’t leave any
chemical, dirty glassware and Biohazard agent for a long time.
·
Autoclave or chemical
disinfection liquid biological
waste and solid biological waste. Chemical waste should be
submitted on a Hazardous
Materials Pickup Request
Form.

and Safety Committee member.
Winter
break
period Lab safety
December 23rd
through
January 2nd all of us most will not be
Lab. If you plan
to work in the Lab during the Holiday recess:
· Make sure the Lab door is
closed before you leave.
Also please note the hot plate, gases, and autoclave turn off
when you leave.
· If you see any problem such as
water leak,
please report to Purdue 49-48221 (non-emergency number)
· If you work alone in the hood,
please make
sure someone else is nearby.
