LORRE
July and August
safety issue
8/30/2017
To
all:
On
July 18th
we had a very successful LORRE Lab
Safety Day.
We are very grateful for all the LORRE professors leading by
example through active
participation in this activity. All lab students and visiting
scholars made
great efforts. This summer we had four students get a doctoral
degree and three
students get graduate degrees. As they left, the safe handling
of all waste
material and management of lab safety is a lot to be solved.
However, this
safety day was very helpful in resolving these safety concerns.
In
early
August we got the 2017 Integrated
Safety Plan (ISP)
annual renewal certification. This will also encourage
us to work hard and
continue improving our safety program.
Today
at
3:30pm in the Potter center FU Room #234 REM Kristi
Evans will gave us the
Lockout/ Tagout safety
training. We want everyone to attend if you are not in
class.
Thanks,
LORRE
