Dear Lindsey,
Thank you for this follow up.
All,
I am disappointed at this development, particularly after we have met with all of you for training and start-up.
Please follow protocols that we have established in the SOPs that all of us have read and signed. Otherwise your privileges for working in the lab will be suspended, and you will not be able to come to Potter to do lab work.
You should be signing up for location and work schedule on the google doc scheduling form, so we will assume that the people in the respective areas are responsible, per Lindsey’s note below.
Mike

Labmates-
Please recall that you signed an agreement to disinfect lab surfaces when you are finished each day. I am going to be bold and say that that is likely not happening after my morning rounds. I have noticed centrifuges uncovered/unopened/powered on, dirty glassware
left on benches, balances left powered on and general untidiness of benches where pipettes, tips, racks and clean glassware should have been stored away. I am asking you all to please allow yourself more time to cleanup your workspace, whether it is shared
or not. Thank you for your time.
Lindsey
