All, please see the following details regarding facility access, shipping and receiving and maintenance requests during our current situation:
BUILDING ACCESS
Beginning today, Friday, March 20th we will be locking all entrances to POTR
except for the loading dock entry. This door was selected due to its convenience for loading and unloading and because it is handicap accessible. Buildings across campus are going to single entry only to try and cut down on the amount of foot
traffic within the facility.
SHIPPING & RECEIVING
Beginning Monday, March 23rd, Potter Engineering Center will not be accepting any inbound mail or packages. Those items will be held by Purdue Central Receiving (MMDC) or the carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.). Unfortunately, most
of the shipping companies are no longer allowing the general public to enter their facilities, so retrieving your items there will not currently be possible.
As of now, MMDC will be allowing walk-ins to retrieve their items (USPS).
MAINTANANCE REQUESTS
No changes. I can be reached by phone (765) 49-69757 or by email
philq@purdue.edu regarding any facility issues or requests. You are also encouraged to utilize the
Purdue Fix-It website. After-hours, please contact the Purdue University Police non-emergency number (765) 49-48221.
If any changes in these procedures occur, I will do my best to inform everyone.
