ISP
Certification Renewal
We
are
preparing for the 2015 LORRE Integrated Safety Plan (ISP)
certification renewal
audit. This is a very
important safety
program for LORRE. First,
we will
separate into two teams and preform self-audits. After the self-audits are
completed, each PI
must sign the self-audit checklist.

The
self-audits
should be finished by 6/19/2015. If there are any
corrections to be made based
on the self-audit, please complete them by 7/1/2015.
This safety audit combines Lab #359’s organization and arrangement processes. We believe everyone is responsible for promoting lab safety in LORRE.

Chemical
Inventory Update (2015)
Madison
Turner, Dayane Vanessa Morais and Haley Roos helped to finish
all lab chemical
inventories. We would
like to thank them
for their work. The
updated lists will
be posted in each lab. The
complete
document is available from Carla and will be kept in the LORRE
Office.
The chemical
inventory is helpful when trying to find certain chemicals. Also please check the
inventory list before
ordering any chemicals to avoid duplication.
These updates will help everyone save time and money on
research
Lab Coat
Cleaning
We have recently taken all dirty lab coats
to be
cleaned. We would like
to thank Joan Goetz
for washing the lab coats for the LORRE laboratory.
Thank you for your cooperation,
The LORRE Safety Committee
