To all Lab Users-

Proper lab experimentation also includes throughout planning. When you are thinking how you will execute your experiment, be sure to review and prepare for waste management. This is a current example of poor waste management and is not the only box to contain sharps (serological pipets) larger than the waste container upon my walk-through of POTR today.

While you may not have intentionally meant to harm, please realize that by ‘disposing’ of pipets larger than the box that I am now exposed to this hazardous risk, as I am handling the waste pickup and must now move them to another appropriately sized box to be secured shut.
