We appreciate all of your effort and successful completion of last year's safety program. In the new school year, we will continue to push on. Please keep up the good work and pay attention to this month's safety issue.

 

Review of Lab Safety Rules

1.     Report all accidents, injuries immediately and fill out the First Report of Injury (FROI) Form.

2.     Leave your work station clean and in good order before leaving the laboratory.

3.     Safely operate the autoclave and centrifuges.

4.     Properly treat biological waste and chemical waste.

If you borrow any lab machines or equipment, please make sure to return it. If you move it from its original location, please let us know. Doing so will help Purdue property scrutiny, expedite the physical inventory, and maintain equipment safety.
