The autoclave have been fixed. It returned to normal working condition. Autoclave is an important experimental instrument in the Lab, so all users must be trained beforehand. Please, strictly follow the procedure posted on the autoclave door if you need to operate it. In addition, fill out the autoclave log after each time you use it. We have a service plan with STERIS Corporation. If any problem arises, please contact our PhD student Jessica L Zuponic jzuponci@purdue.edu . She will assist you in contacting STERIS technician.

Robert found that the door latch in Room 231 is sticking. Other lab doors have the same problem. Currently, Carla is contacting Phillip to solve the problem. So, when you are the last one leaving any lab room, please make sure the door is close and safe.
