Using Enzymes

Enzymes are important materials used in various LORRE research areas. In order to avoid contamination, please transfer a small volume of enzyme to a separate container for use. Once finished, any enzyme solution leftover should be designated as waste and should not be returned to the bulk container. Please be sure to store enzymes in the refrigerator to maintain their quality.

Experiment Safety Placard

Professor Engelberth, Abigail's group has designed and distributed the Experiment Safety Placard for all of the LORRE work areas. This is a great method to improve the safety of our lab and you are encouraged to use them for your experiments.

Respiratory Fit Test Training

REM representative, Heather Boudreau, came to Potter for N95 Respiratory Fit Testing this month. All personnel involved in the food safety have received this training.
