Subject: [LORRE-list] -80deg FREEZER EMERGENCY, without power
Group- I discovered the -80degC freezer to be unplugged and nearly at room temperature this morning. I plugged it in and it reached -54 sometime before noon. I checked on it again and their is no power to the unit while plugged in.
This currently contains what was relocated from the -40degC freezer.
Please be aware that all contents of the -80degC freezer have went through at least one freeze thaw cycle and potentially more.
If you have information about the freeser being unplugged intentionally, please see me immediately. Thank you.

Abby- I am adding you because I moved some contents containing Samira’s name.
After opening the freezer 4 times, the temp at 215pm was +10degC.
Contents now in -80degC. This particular freezer is at its max contents.

Importance: High
I just discovered the freezer has no power. Sending an urgent request to Maintenance. Moving contents to -80deg freezer now.
I am confident that it has been without power for less than 24 hours because I accessed it yesterday.
