LORRE HPLC Recharge Center Announcement

To All:       

1.     We have been separating the HPLC analyzer vials, caps, and filters from the large package into smaller packages so that each person can take what they need. These vials are important for HPLC analysis samples, but they can get expensive. To reduce waste and cost, please avoid leaving the vials and filters anywhere in the lab so we can keep track of inventory and order new ones accordingly.

2.     HPLC Systems #1 and #7 received new H columns on March 4^th. If you are using these systems, you will need to calibrate with the new standard. When we change a column, we need to think seriously about the use-time of the column, including how many samples it has analyzed and the resolution condition. Some columns may be back-flushed and reused to increase the column lifetime.

3.     Please don’t shut down any of the HPLC systems or turn off the power, to help keep the HPLC systems in good working condition. If you have any problems with the systems please contact us.
