Group- In my effort to wrap up the task of updating our Chemical Inventory in ABE, I unknowingly sorted (or filtered) and jumbled ROWS of information. This caused chemicals to be listed in fridges or freezers that were inaccurate. I’m attempting
to reconcile this but it could prove to be a more difficult task than starting from scratch. In the meantime, you might attempt to locate something using the Ctrl+F function, rather than sort and filter. If you cannot physically locate something where it should
be, note that I reduced down dry storage in 4107 from 5 to 3 white cabinets. Please find me if you still need assistance locating a substance that you know still exists in LORRE.
I apologize that my actions unknowingly caused so much harm to the spreadsheet. I am strongly considering reverting back to plain ole Excel, rather than Google Sheets, if it will prevent future users from making the same error. The originator had good intentions
of using a Google form to easily add new items to the Sheet, but it can just as easily be done by inserting a new line and filling out relevant product information. I am open to further discussion if someone feels strongly about it. In the meantime, please
have patience with me as I try to remedy this mistake. Thank you.
