LORRE Safety

Review:
The
link to the LORRE safety website is http://www.purdue.edu/lorre/safety/index.php.
The
website contains information on workplace injury information,
safety
resources, and Purdue’s emergency preparedness procedures. We
recommend that
you take the time to familiarize yourself with the Potter
Building’s Emergency
plan, including what to do in case of fire, tornado, or other
emergency status
evacuation procedures/emergency warning notifications.
Suggestions:
The
Purdue University Lab Safety Fundamental (LSF) online training
has been
developed. It is an excellent basic laboratory safety education
tool. You can
use your Purdue ID to register for LSF online training.
Notifications:
Christian Vetter and Lauren Glass did a great job
cleaning the some
disorganized and dirty sinks in the lab. Please maintain the
improved condition
of the sinks. If you wish to soak tubes, beakers, flasks, etc.
please clean and
put away as soon as possible after soaking.
And also thanks Joan Goetz helping wash the Lab Dirty
lab coats.
Thanks
