I2D-list Shah Lab - Student and Faculty opportunity Reminder
Dear All, This is a reminder for exciting opportunity for students interested in international development research/careers during Innovation for International Development (I2D) Expo on April 1st and 2nd. Each year Shah Lab in GEPP convenes a forum for development professionals, researchers, faculty, students and staff to come together to discuss utilization of R&D and innovation for social impact. This year we are also hosting guests from World Bank, MIT, World Vision, BSR, Plan International, CARE, World Concern and QED Group Key sessions: 1. Importance of Data Visualization in the International Development on April 1st (4:30 – 5:15 pm) 2. Careers in International Development (open Q&A with students) on April 1st (5:30 – 7pm) 3. Keynote Panel discussion with representatives from World Bank, World Vision, BSR and Plan International April 2nd (4:00-5:30) 4. Poster Presentation with awards worth ($750, $500, $200) on April 2nd (1:30 – 3:30pm). Deadline for abstract submission in March 23rd Please find attached the flyers for each event. Please share it with your students and other faculty. Appreciate the help in spreading the word. P.S – Also attaching the Agenda of the Expo, for your reference.
