Colleagues, The next I2D Lab meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 at 12:00-1:30pm in WANG 2501 with the following guest presentations (each 15 mins talk + 10 mins questions): Talk 1. John Lumkes, ABE, Practical Utility Platform (PUP) a flexible, low-cost PLATFORM for transporting heavy loads over rough terrain, and for powering a variety of labor-saving implements. Talk 2. Carol Handwerker, MSE, Sustainable Electronics: IGERT - Integrative Graduate Education, Training, and Research Please try and attend. You are also welcome to bring along 1 or 2 students who would be interested in attending. The goal of these meetings is to learn more about engineering faculty interests and ongoing projects in global sustainable development, look for potential research collaborations, and to network with partners on campus to target new funding/partnership opportunities. If you have not yet done so, we ask that you RSVP with Tami Sells (tsells@purdue.edu<mailto:tsells@purdue.edu>) to this, and subsequent meetings so that we can obtain a count for lunch.
