Our colleagues in the Human Rights Program in the College of Liberal Arts are hosting a guest speaker next week whose work may be of interest to some in this community. *Global Trends, Local Challenges: Economic Rights and "Stakeholder" Engagement in Light Manufacturing* Dr. Shareen Hertel MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4 4:30 – 6:00 P.M. BEERING 2290 Shareen Hertel is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Connecticut, jointly appointed with the university’s Human Rights Institute. On her visit to Purdue, she will speak on her forthcoming book, Tethered Fates: Companies, Communities, and Rights at Stake (Oxford, 2019).
