USAID announced the launch of a new Science for Development Fellowship (SDF) last December. This fellowship program is designed to attract leading American PhD-level experts in science and technology to strengthen the effectiveness of USAID programs, while providing them with career development opportunities. 

 

The SDF program is now accepting applications from PhD-level scientists and Masters of Engineering from all scientific disciplines, including life sciences, social sciences, mathematics, engineering, public health, and medicine. Scientists and engineers can use this link to apply from now until Thursday, February 29, 2024 

 

The inaugural group of Fellows will serve in USAID/Washington for two years, from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2026, with an optional third year.
