Please see below infomraiton on Hackathon hosted by LASER PULSE and CGDV, partnering with USAID Mission in Colombia, Sponsored by Purdue Honors College, University of Notre Dame, Tableau Foundation, and USAID

It would be great if you can distribute share this with interested students.  It’s an amazing opportunity for interested Purdue students from different disciplines to work  together.  Students may find teammates from other participating universities (University of Notre Dame, Universidad De Antioquia, Universidad Del Norte, and Universidad Nacional de Colombia).   The top three winning teams will be selected by the USAID Mission in Colombia.  The Mission is looking for insights from the data to inform future program design to address the Venezuelan Migration crisis. 

This is a great opportunity for students to work on a real world problem.

• Massive DATA collected from Colombia Government, UNHCR, and surrounding countries.
• Cash prizes (1^st - $1,500  , 2^nd -  $1,000 , 3^rd - $500)
• Datasets released on Feb 13^th, 2020
• Final work submission: before 11:59 pm EST March 6, 2020
• Cross campus event –University of Notre Dame, Purdue University, Universidad De Antioquia, Universidad Del Norte, and Universidad Nacional de Colombia
• 2, 3, or 4 person team.  You may also register individually and we will find you teammates.
