Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to share that we will be hosting Sasha Gallant, Division Chief, Development Innovation Ventures at USAID for a Zoom information session and Q&A regarding the
USAID Development Innovation Ventures.
USAID’s Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) provides grant funding to innovators and researchers to test new ideas, build evidence of what works, and advance the best solutions. DIV supports a broad range
of innovations, including business models, products, behavioral interventions, applied research, or replications of proven innovations in novel environments. There are 3 stages of funding USAID offers under DIV:
·
Stage 1 Grants: Pilot (Up to $200,000)
·
Stage 2 Grants: Test and Position for Scale (Up to $1,500,000)
·
Stage 3 Grants: Transition to Scale (Up to $15,000,000)
·
Evidence Generation Grants (Up to $1,500,000)
Information about the application process for DIV
can be found here, and examples of previous innovations funded by DIV
can be found here.
We will be hosting Sasha via Zoom on
Friday, February 18th at 1pm EST. I will send a Zoom link shortly to those of you who may be interested in learning more about the Development Innovation Ventures and the application process. Please let me know if you have any questions
in advance of this meeting.
Feel free to forward this invitation to others at Purdue who may be interested in this program. I look forward to seeing you there!
All the best,
Haley
