Subject: Hold the date Innovation for International Development Expo March 23/24

 

Dear ELT members,

 

We are hosting the third I2D Lab Expo on March 24 this year with an exciting expected line up of Keynote speakers from USAID, UN Foundation, Gates Foundation, Resilient Africa Network etc who will speaking about opportunities for engineering innovations for international development. Please see attached. Innovation for International Development Lab (I2D Lab) is CoE’s initiative to support international partnerships, engineering innovations, and grantsmanship towards the UN’s Global Development Goals. www.i2dlab.org

 

There are three separate sessions that make up the Expo:

1.       March 23 Thursday 5-7 PM (ARMS Lobby), Poster Competition and Reception

2.       March 24 Friday 8.30-11.30 AM (West Faculty Lounge), I2D Lab Innovator Advisory Session  (engr faculty and student innovators in intl development get feedback on their work from invited guests)

3.       March 24 Friday 1.00-5.00 PM (West Faculty Lounge), Keynote Session (keynote talks)
