- Workshop: Amplify Women and Gender Initiative – Virtual-Live only. Registration required.
Thursday, Oct. 14, 3:00-4:30 pm. This workshop titled ‘Me’ and ‘We’: Community Solutions to Combat Internalized Oppression will be conducted by Alexis Kanda-Omstead, Director, Advancement Talent Management, Dartmouth College. This session will explore
the concept of “internalized oppression”, which is when an oppressed group believes stereotypes and myths about their own group and uses the methods of oppressions against itself. Information can be found in

- Courageous Conversations – Virtual-Live
only. Registration required. Wednesday, October 20, 3-4:30 pm. Organized by Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence and Purdue Policy Research Institute, Discovery Park. Topic 1, titled Global Development, Global Justice: Leading, Engaging,
and Doing Research, will approach the notion of development with a critical lens and focus on rights and basic needs in enabling equity. Information can be found in
