Colleagues,

The next I2D Lab meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 17 at 12:00-1:30pm in WANG 2501 with the following guest presentations (each 15 mins talk + 10 mins questions):

Talk 1. Jacqueline Linnes, Point-of-care detection of neonatal sepsis

Talk 2. You-Yeon Won, Development of a cost effective treatment for neonatal RDS in low-resource countries

Please try and attend. You are also welcome to bring along 1 or 2 students who would be interested in attending. The goal of these meetings is to learn more about engineering faculty interests and ongoing projects in global sustainable development, look for potential research collaborations, and to network with partners on campus to target new funding/partnership opportunities.

If you have not yet done so, we ask that you RSVP with Tami Sells (tsells@purdue.edu) to this, and subsequent meetings so that we can obtain a count for lunch.

The meeting schedule for the semester follows. If you are interested in sharing your own project in an upcoming meeting, please let us know.
