Announcing The Elevate Prize

If given the right resources at the right time, does your work have the potential to elevate humanity and inspire others to act as engines for social good?

The Elevate Prize Foundation is announcing the inaugural Elevate Prize powered by MIT Solve, which will empower and celebrate inspiring leaders and role models around the world—Global Heroes who can spark movements, mobilize communities, and catalyze positive change.

This new foundation will award up to US$5 million annually to multiple Global Heroes and offer valuable resources for two years after being selected, helping amplify their work and build a massive movement to galvanize people all over the world to do good in their own community.

Further, as the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to impact our lives, The Elevate Prize will recognize and uplift Global Heroes who are elevating humanity by preparing for, detecting, and responding to emerging pandemics and health security threats. As part of its partnership with MIT Solve, The Elevate Prize has committed to select at least one Solver from the MIT Solve Global Challenge on Health Security and Pandemics as part of its inaugural cohort of Global Heroes.

APPLY

The Elevate Prize will provide selected Global Heroes with:

| Funding: A minimum prize of US$300,000 to each Global Hero spread over two years, with potential for additional monetary support.
| Professional Expertise: Management and development services, mentorship and coaching, educational training, and capacity building.
| A Powerful Network: Connections with influencers, industry leaders, and subject matter experts through The Elevate Prize Foundation’s multi-year program.

The Elevate Prize will select a radically diverse cohort of Global Heroes from a variety of backgrounds, regions, and disciplines, each bringing their own unique ideas, skills, and experience. Whether you are an entrepreneur in Haiti, an artist in Bangladesh, a technologist in Germany, an activist in Brazil, or a doctor in Egypt, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for leaders, innovators, activists, and risk-takers who are impacting their community every day. Nominate a Global Hero or apply here by June 29.
