Dear Water Community -

 

Andrew Whelton is seeking a MS or PhD student (CE or EEE) to work on the following project to develop calibrated water quality-hydraulic model of a building plumbing system. This 6-9 month project would start immediately and result in a publishable report. Characteristics of potential students can be shown below.

Expertise Sought:

·       Pressurized pipe hydraulics

·       Programming in MATLAB (or other languages such as Python)

·       Knowledge of drinking water chemistry

·       EPANET experience preferred

·       Would earn research credit (6-9 credits/semester), would not take classes during this time but instead work solely on this project.

·       6-9 months, February 2020-September 2020
