The 2019 mEducation Alliance
Symposium on October 9 – 11, 2019 in Washington, DC, seeks presentation proposals that address how enhancing digital literacy acquisition, instruction, and extension leads to improved national
and community development outcomes.
The mEducation Alliance embraces a broad definition of information and communications technology (ICT), therefore it welcome proposals that feature digital
literacy interventions across a variety of media and applications including, mobile phones, computers, e-Readers, tablets, flash memory, micro projectors, and audio/video devices, .
The 9th Annual Symposium will
be an exciting opportunity to connect with policymakers and practitioners from government, leading donor organizations, the private sector, NGOs, ICT4Edu
researchers, and other innovators engaged in the field.
As in past Symposia,
this year’s event will include interactive sessions and formats, including dynamic panel presentations, gallery walks, and intentional networking opportunities.
The mEducation Symposium welcomes
presentation proposals focused on the following sub-themes:

session applications are due by June 28th. Presentation proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please note for those applying internationally, we encourage you to submit your presentation proposals as soon as possible. All selected presenters will
be informed before Monday, July, 15th, 2019.
