The Bolivian Flamingos
The Eduardo Avaroa Andean National Reserve, located in southwestern Bolivia, is one of the most popular tourist destinations within Bolivia. This area covers approximately
2,760 square miles with landscape including high desert plains, rugged mountains and lakes. The area is home to the three of the worlds six breeds of flamingos. These flamingos flourish in the harsh environment despite sub-zero temperatures.
