Aims and goals of the NAWI NextGen program: 1. Unite early-career members of the NAWI Alliance to create a nationwide-community of rising water-energy innovators; 2. Foster the principles of diversity and inclusion; 3. Accelerate the development of NextGen members through mentorship, academic and industrial partnerships, inter-institutional research, and professional development resources and events; and, 4. Engage with NAWI leadership on research, outreach, and developmental needs of the future workforce, including diversity, inclusion, and access.
