Subject: Upcoming interviews for Director of Sustainability

Students and colleagues –

In the Purdue Today email this morning, the announcement was made for upcoming open forums for the two candidates for the Purdue Director of Sustainability. Here’s the link: http://www.purdue.edu/newsroom/purduetoday/faculty_staff_news/2011/110512_DirSustForum.html

Unfortunately, very little information was given about the candidates, including their names! Being on the search committee for this position, I am privy to these “secrets” and authorized to share them with you:

May 18 – Gordie Bennett, Sustainability Manager at University of Tennessee Knoxville.

May 20 – Michael Gulich, Vice President/Director of High Performance Building and Sustainability Consulting, Croxton Collaborative Architects, New York City.

The forums will be from 9:30 to 10:45 in Stewart 202. Each candidate will give a brief presentation followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

These sessions are open to everyone, so please feel free to forward this information to interested students and colleagues in other departments.
