ESE Fall 2023 Symposium – Call for Abstracts

The Fall 2023 ESE Symposium, “Food 4 All”, will be held October 11-12, 2023, in-person at Purdue University. Both undergraduate and graduate students from all colleges and departments are invited to showcase their work and learn from each other. This symposium provides an opportunity to explore and discuss the many aspects of food security and nutrition, together.

Abstracts must be submitted via the Qualtrics form no later than Friday September 1, 2023. All submissions must include a title and abstract of 500 words or less. Monetary prizes will be awarded to the top two undergraduate presenters and the top two graduate presenters.

While the topic of food security is broad, the abstract should fall under one of the following themes:

• Theme 1: Earth Systems Interactions
• Theme 2: Green Technology
• Theme 3: Human Impacts on Biosphere Processes
• Theme 4: Managed Ecosystems
• Theme 5: Sustainable Urban Environments
