1. MET 530 – Facilities Engineering Technology

2. COM 576: Risk Communication
Risk communication is an exponentially growing subfield of communication. With this
recognition, this course focuses on providing students with a solid knowledge about the
social scientific theory and research relevant to the prevention and control of risk. It will
provide the understanding of classical theories as well as the most recent perspectives
pertinent to risk communication. Multi-level and multi-domain theoretical perspectives
course emphasizes application to diverse areas of risk including environment, health,
science, technology, and crisis. Specific application areas include climate change,
cancer, food risk issues, and global infectious diseases. Class time: Tu Th daytime.
