ABE 527: Computer Models in Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering

 

Credit Hours: 3.00       Offered: Spring in alternate years.  Available Spring 2016

 

Brief Description:  Current computer models utilized for decision support are applied using case studies to further enhance the understanding of the hydrological processes and to conduct water quality assessments. Emphasis is placed on hands-on modeling work and comparative evaluations of standard models in the field.  Advantages and limitations of the models are discussed.

 

Prerequisites: ABE 325 and CE 340 or equivalent.  Working knowledge of computer applications.
