Subject: Fuels Institute Case Competition
The deadline for abstracts to enter this competition is December 8.
The Fuels Institute, a recently-formed not-for-profit think tank under the auspices of NACS—The Association for Convenience and Fuel Retailing, has announced an industry case competition for students at
www.fuelsinstitute.org/casecompetition. As described in the call for teams on the organization’s web site, “The Fuels Institute, a multi-industry think tank, is seeking entries for
an inter-disciplinary case competition to design the future of transportation. Finalists will be flown to New Orleans, April 27-28, 2015, to present to industry executives for final judging at the Fuels Institute Spring Meeting.
Benefits include cash prizes, publication, networking opportunities, and intellectual challenge.”
Further details about the organization, its industry partners, and the competition may be found on the web site. The .pdf file is the Fuels Institute’s flyer that can be posted on bulletin boards where interested students
may see it, distributed by faculty members in classes that deal with pertinent subject matter, and so on. I would also ask for any electronic promotion via email, social media, newsletters or other means that you would consider appropriate to the information.
