Your team advisors and TAs can help coach you along the way, but you have the freedom to have new experiences in your teams that can help lead to deeper learning. In order to translate your experiences into tangible lessons, reflective thinking is key. Every week, you should reflect about the experiences you've had, and consider what the implications of those experiences are for the community and for your own professional development. From these reflections, consider what you would do differently the next time you are in a similar situation, and put your learning into practice. This program's goal is to expand the community involvement of Purdue students in partnership with communities, nonprofit agencies, schools, and governmental bodies. One important way to prepare for IR is to make sure your team website is up-to-date. Many of you choose to include your EPICS experience on your resumes, and the first place many employers look for information is on the team website. Ensuring the website included current team rosters and projects is critical. Additionally, check and make sure any corporate sponsors logos for your team are prominently displayed on the website.
