Hello INDIA Team, I talked with Jorge Martinez today about the after-hours lab access issues a few of you had. If you were able to swipe into the computer lab successfully, you should be able to access the main EPICS lab in 1098. He said the card reader for 1098 can be finicky and won't accept the card unless it is pushed all the way in and is slid straight across the reader (i.e. you are not sliding the card crookedly at an angle). So if it won't accept your card the first time, try it a few more times and make sure you slide it straight through parallel to the reader. I know it took a few tries for it to accept my own card. If your card has an RFID chip, you can avoid this issue by just putting it against the reader to gain access.
