Important EPICS Week 2 Announcements


Lecture Monday, August 28, 2017:   

Learning Community New Students:

·         First time EPICS students who are registered for ENGR 133 will cover this week’s new student lecture material during your normal ENGR 133 lecture.

·         There is no need to attend any additional lecture or online makeup.

 

Non-Learning Community New Students:

·         First time EPICS students who are not registered for ENGR 133 have live-lecture this week at 4:30 pm in CL50.

·         If you cannot attend, makeup is available online (Follow Instructions for Gift Giving Makeup).

 

Returning Students:

·         There are no live lectures for returning students.

·         See the PDH Schedule for options on completing your PDHs.

·         Make sure to register in advance, as many fill up quickly.

·         Please deregister for any events you will not attend to open space for others.

Entrepreneurship Series

We are pleased to offer the first EPICS Entrepreneurship Series. This series of guest speakers will cover the basics of entrepreneurship resources at Purdue, new product development, customer discovery, and finance. You must commit to attending to all four events to get four PDHs for completing the series.


Service Learning Roundtable

The Office of Engagement is holding a service-learning roundtable for students who are new to service-learning to hear from experienced service-learning students about what to expect, what questions they have, and the value of the service-learning experience to their education. See attached flyer for details.


Individual Evaluation Rubric

The Individual Evaluation Rubric was updated for this semester. Be sure to review it on the EPICS website to understand grading expectations in accordance with the syllabus.
