Important EPICS Week 9 Announcements

Cross-Cultural Dimensions Workshop March 4

This workshop will focus on how to efficiently work within cross cultural teams. They will be going over many tools to help navigating cross-cultural differences such as Hofstede’s dimensions and how to avoid such conflicts. These skills, currently, are considered highly valuable in industry and research environment and it would be a great opportunity to improve the team working skills. Please email at ispc@purdue.edu if you have any questions.

MATCHCOUNTS – March 9

This is a fun mathematics competition for 6/7/8 graders.  Purdue is hosting the State competition and we expect about 220 students from all over Indiana. The majority of volunteers will be helping with the scoring effort. Lunch is provided! Volunteer at https://goo.gl/forms/W1PX1zITfxnT42GH3. Contact hughe162@purdue.edu for details.

International Development (I2D) Exposition – March 29

This event highlights Purdue's incredible engineering innovations focused on addressing the Sustainable Development Goals. As part of this event, students from across the College of Engineering have the opportunity to participate in the Exposition Poster Session, where they can share their research and connect with development professionals from the government, academia, and non-profit space. We would like to encourage as many student teams to participate as possible and would greatly appreciate if you could please share the attached information with your students. See flyer for details.
