Subject: Development of cost effective community potable water filter

Greetings Professor William Oakes,

As a part of the EPICS program, 6 students from BITS Pilani are involved in the water purification project under the guidance of Professor Ashish Tiwari (Coordinator National Service Scheme, BITS Pilani) and me. This is for your kind information that I am working in the same area for the last 24 years.

Students have collected the samples from Bhass Village and analysed the samples in the laboratory. This is for your kind information that Fluoride and Total Dissolved solids are beyond the limits of potable water. Students are working in the laboratory and want to develop low cost potable water filter to be used by the community. This requires funding for R&D work and installation of equipment at Bhass Village.

Please suggest the procedure to procure funding for the above scheme.
