We have almost met our $600 goal for the matching donation for the
Yo Soy Puerto Rico gofundme campaign. You all have so far donated $535 with two days to go. The need remains great: many homes are destroyed and most of Puerto Rico continues to be without clean water or electricity. The EPICS staff has agreed to raise
our matching pot if you all exceed the goal, so please consider making a contribution today.

You may have noticed the posters on the lab walls for the
Yo Soy Puerto Rico gofundme campaign. This is a multi-university, student driven campaign to raise money for hurricane relief for Puerto Rico. The funds will go to
Unidos por Puerto Rico, a public-private initiative started by the office of the First Lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Isabel Roselló. As I’m sure you are aware, the devastation in Puerto Rico has been tremendous, and they are in need of significant aid.
