Important EPICS Week 1 Announcements
Intro to EPICS PDH – Required for all EPICS Students
- ‘Intro to EPICS’ will be live-streamed 3:30-4:20 PM Eastern Time on Monday, August 24
- The session will be recorded and posted to the
EPICS YouTube Channel for any students who can’t attend live to review during the first week of classes.

Lab Attendance

All week 1 labs will be online only. Your TA will email you the link to join the meeting.

Do not report to your assigned room during week 1.
- Starting week 2, all labs will be available in-person or online.
- Labs will meet one-project-at-a-time in small groups during an assigned time slot. Your TA will communicate details for your team.
EPICS Important Tools
- Website: New students will want to become familiar with the EPICS website, where you will find the syllabus, lab and lecture schedule, assignments (milestones), and more. See

- Brightspace: All EPICS teams have a Brightspace page, which includes core academic information and grades. See.

- Microsoft Teams: All EPICS teams will have a Microsoft Teams instance to collaborate, share files, and conduct video conferencing. You will receive an invite to your team this
week.
