Important EPICS Week 16 Announcements

Great job this semester, everyone, and have a wonderful winter break! We hope to see most of you back in the spring to continue the good work you have begun in your community.

End of Semester Clean and Label!

Every team is responsible to clean out your team locker and make sure that any materials or prototypes outside the lockers are clearly labeled with your team name and the current semester. Assume that everything you leave out without a current label will be thrown away. When cleaning out lockers, don’t trash the lab- put away any tools or common supplies that were left in your lockers, throw away the trash, and donate back to the lab any good condition items that your team will not need.

Purdue Journal of Service Learning and Service Learning Summit

If you have some service-learning work you’d like to show off (maybe that shiny new EPICS project you just finished), or maybe just need a resume-booster, consider publishing your work in the Purdue Journal of Service Learning. Another great opportunity to present your work is at the Purdue Engagement and Service-Learning Summit, held in February here on campus. Both of these are great opportunities to practice or show-off your technical writing and presentation skills – both of which will come in handy, especially if you are interested in grad school. See the attached fliers for details.

End of Semester Deliverables

Verify Your Attendance

Be sure to check your attendance and PDH credits in MyEPICS. Let your advisor or TA know if you have any missing credits. Insufficient credits can severely impact your grade.
